Community Sovereignty Committee

The activities of the Community Sovereignty Committee include: 
  • Creatively interact with existing governance agencies to inspire their embrace of the principles of natural law, the Declaration of Independence for the Living Beings of Earth, and the Resolution of One Accord.
  • Research, document, and propose measures and means of implementing the principles of natural law, the Declaration of Independence for the Living Beings of Earth, and the Resolution of One Accord within assembly activities, operations, and projects.
  • Research and document the aspects of local cultural traditions, perceptions, and behaviors that fall short of the principles of sovereignty, natural law, the Declaration of Independence for the Living Beings of Earth, and the Resolution of One Accord, and create, document, and propose measures and means to address these shortfalls.
  • Investigate and assess grievances and disputes and identify measures to resolve the issues.
  • Implement measures to mediate between parties or otherwise resolve injustices outside a judicial process wherever possible.

  • Design and Implement Peace and Reconciliation Programs to address injustices and restore integrity.
  • Initiate a jural process to resolve injustices that are of a criminal nature and cannot otherwise be resolved.

  • Assess damages to persons or property that resulted from the injustice and implement restoration measures to ameliorate damages.
